A heartfelt message from Dr. Tim Stirneman,
Owner & Founder of Compassionate Dental Care
Dear possible future team member,
I appreciate you finding us and considering us as the next place to further your career.
I ask that before applying, please read this letter. I have owned a dental practice and served this community for almost 30 years and have worked with many different people. Over that time, I have carefully defined our vision, core values and culture. I am only interested in hiring team members with similar values and work ethic.
In a 5.5 mile radius from our office, there are 68 dentist offices. That is 68 continuous options for our patients, or potential patients. In order to separate ourselves from every other office, we have to be more than different. We have to be better, care more, work harder and have more fun.
If your interest is to work at a dental office for the 9 to 5 hours and easy pace of work, we kindly ask you to stop reading, get a snack, take a nap and go about your day. If you have left a previous job because of high expectations, busy work loads and too much innovation, we kindly ask that you stop reading, watch some TV, stare out your window and go about your day.
We understand our patients and do our best to accommodate their busy lives and work schedules. We are open 7am-7pm Monday through Friday and open Saturdays from 8-2pm.
Compassionate Dental Care is a high-tech, high energy, fast paced office that is focused on growth, exceptional patient experience, and a strong connection to our community. Our expectations are high because that is the standard that we set for our patients. I only want to add the best people as our team members. People excited to show up and help patients, motivated to achieve results, have high standards of quality and integrity and want to be here long-term. I want people who possess a flexible, entrepreneurial spirit. Your responsibility for an exceptional patient service always exceeds your personal tasks or job assignments. Personal initiative, often achieved by motivating and working with others, will always be rewarded. The people that are the best for us have the desire for continual personal and professional growth and are always an ambassador for our brand.
In an attempt to improve our hiring process, we’ve implemented the Kolbe Personality Assessment and working interviews to help find the ideal fit team members. This has almost eliminated turnover and has led to creating a powerful, positive and motivated team of high-achievers. I truly believe that the team we have now at Compassionate Dental Care is something special. Each of us is willing to jump in and help whenever needed.
I don’t hire employees. We add team members and friends. As intense as we describe our expectations, we also have a lot of fun! Celebrating personal and professional milestones regularly, team outings and being involved in giving back to the community are very important to us. You generally see us more than your family, so we want to make sure that when you walk through the doors every morning, your second family is ready to seize the day with you. Our team is energetic, eclectic and a blast to work with. We never discriminate against age, gender or race. Your attitude, passion and drive determine your value. Most of us have kids and families, so a work/life balance is important to us. We offer health insurance, 401K, personal days and bonuses based on performance.
If what I have written above intimidates you or is uninteresting, I thank you for reading it in its entirety and wish you the best.
However, if what I have written above excites you, then we are very excited to meet you!
We are always seeking new talent and the best people.
